The 8th annual CHRISTmas “Be a Blessing” Gala may be over, but we are still celebrating! The evening was nothing short of blessed! From powerful songs of praise and stirring spoken word performances, to personal testimonies from our founders and partners — all at the sparkling Vineyards venue — it was a night to remember!
We are overflowing with gratitude to our wonderful supporters. The night would not have been possible without our dedicated volunteers. Thank you for all you did to make the night flow seamlessly.
We’d also like to thank Shepherd of the Hills, Little Shepherd Learning Center and Epic the Salon for partnering with us and helping collect toys. We are happy to announce that we exceeded our goal and collected 1,114 toys for homeless and foster youth!
Thank you to all of our donors and guests for your support and contributions! We distributed 100% of the toys to our amazing partner organizations: Door of Hope, Inner Circle, Union Rescue Mission & Hope Gardens. Each of our partner organizations were given over 350 toys to bring joy to the children in their care this holiday season.
We were so happy to provide red carpet treatment for all of our guests. Now it’s time to see all of the fun photos we captured. To view photos, just follow the instructions below:
The CHRISTmas ‘Be a Blessing Gala’ is an annual charitable event with the aim of supporting foster care and homeless children. We enjoy a beautiful evening filled with live music, a 3-course dinner, tributes to heroic families and prizes. Our primary goal is to create awareness around this rapidly growing issue and the impacts of displaced children on our society. In addition, we use this platform to educate the community on ways they can get involved.
The event will include the following…
•Children’s Zone (Puppet Show & Fun Activities – Ages 4 – 11)
•Dinner & Dessert
•Praise & Worship
•Special Guest Vocalists
•Tributes to Heroic Foster Care Families
The focus of this event is to encourage and empower the community to make an imprint on the lives of our children. Our tenet is, “No one person can do everything, but we all can do something!” If we can be motivated to move cooperatively, we make a difference in many lives by simply fulfilling CHRISTmas wishes with the intent to “Be a Blessing”!

URM hosts a Christmas Store for their guests. They call it a store because they give their guests the opportunity to “shop” at no cost to them. This makes for a special Christmas giveaway because they don’t just distribute toys. Instead, guests get to select exactly what they know their children need and will truly enjoy. The Christmas Store allows guests the opportunity to shop with pride and dignity, empowering them with the ability to give gifts to their children on Christmas morning.
